The Lagarina Jazz Festival is one of the premier jazz events in Trentino-Alto Adige. One of its most distinctive venues is the Municipality of Nogaredo (Province of Trento), where concerts are held in the atmospheric setting of the Distilleria Marzadro, a historic local institution dedicated to Trentino grappa and liqueurs.

In Nogaredo, the Lagarina Jazz evenings find a home within the Distilleria Marzadro on Via per Brancolino, where great improvised music intertwines with the food and wine culture of Vallagarina. Here, the audience can enjoy a complete experience: signature concerts often accompanied by guided tours of the distillery and tastings of local products. The Nogaredo program alternates between established masters of Italian and European jazz and young, experimental groups, offering a range that spans from classic jazz and dixieland to more contemporary and experimental sounds.

Lagarina Jazz is not tied to a single stage; the festival is itinerant and involves, in addition to Nogaredo, nearby municipalities such as Isera, Villa Lagarina, Volano, and Calliano. Active since 2007, the festival reached a significant milestone in 2026, celebrating its twentieth anniversary.

Lagarina Jazz Festival 2026 in Nogaredo — Distilleria Marzadro
As part of the twentieth edition of the Lagarina Jazz Festival, held from August 18 to 24, 2026, across six locations in Vallagarina within the TrentinoInJazz circuit, the Distilleria Marzadro in Nogaredo takes center stage with two consecutive evenings. The novelty of the year is the double-concert format, designed to offer the public an even richer experience.
The two evenings in Nogaredo
On August 21, 2026, at 9:00 PM, the Distilleria Marzadro hosts the Michele Sperandio Sea Quartet and Filaments of Existence, in an evening dedicated to contemporary jazz sounds.
On August 22, 2026, also at 9:00 PM, it is the turn of the Gorgan Trio and The Loom, for a second evening of signature jazz in the evocative setting of the distillery.
The Nogaredo stops are part of a week that also includes Isera, Villa Lagarina, Volano, and Calliano, with a total of ten ensembles and thirty-five musicians on stage.

How to get there
Nogaredo is located in Vallagarina, just a few kilometers from Rovereto. By car, it can be reached via the A22 Brennero motorway (Rovereto Sud exit), continuing towards Nogaredo; the Distilleria Marzadro is located at Via per Brancolino 10. By train, the reference station is Rovereto, on the Verona-Brennero line, from where you can continue by bus or taxi.
Tickets and reservations
