In the heart of the Asti Langhe, where vineyards intertwine with woodlands, the Bosco delle Acacie in Vesime lights up for a special evening. On Friday, June 19, 2026, starting at 9:00 PM, Lady Soul — Twenty Years of Soul takes the stage, a concert marking the Lady Soul Band's two decades of activity in one of the region's most evocative venues: a space described by organizers as "suggestive, magical, and fascinating," nestled in the lush countryside of Vesime, in the province of Asti.

About the Lady Soul Band

The Lady Soul Band is a Turin-based ensemble formed in 2006, known for its unmistakable trio of female vocalists accompanied by a solid rhythm and melody section. The group navigates the Stax-Memphis Sound with ease, capturing the essence of 1960s and 70s American soul and rhythm and blues. Their repertoire, rearranged around their signature "all-female" vocal line, spans from the golden age classics to the New Soul Generation, with tributes to icons like Aretha Franklin, Etta James, and Ray Charles, not to mention the high energy of the Blues Brothers.

A stage, twenty years of history

For their twentieth anniversary, the band chose Vesime, blending quality music with the hilly landscape that has become the hallmark of the Bosco delle Acacie. Taking the stage are vocalists Elisa Marchisio, Virginia Clerico, and Alice Pattarelli, supported by Massimo Magnetti on electric guitar, Fabrizio Vargas on bass, Domenico Serra on keyboards, and Sergio Ferraris on drums. Choreography and audience engagement complete a show designed to get the entire crowd singing and dancing.

The Bosco delle Acacie and its program

The event is part of the rich calendar of the Bosco delle Acacie Cultural Association, an organization that has been enlivening Vesime for years with a multidisciplinary program blending music, theater, poetry, dance, and painting, often accompanied by tastings of local wines and gastronomic delicacies. In keeping with the Association's tradition, a convivial moment is planned after the concert: once the performance concludes, guests are invited to the courtyard for refreshments.
