La Prima Estate is one of the most beloved musical events of the Italian summer, hosted in Camaiore, in the heart of Versilia, in the province of Lucca, Tuscany. The festival has made its home at Parco BussolaDomani in Lido di Camaiore, a large green space just fifty meters from the sea that provides a natural backdrop for the evening concerts. A festival spanning two weekends

Unlike classic festivals concentrated into a few days, La Prima Estate unfolds over two weekends in June, allowing the audience to experience Versilia at a leisurely pace, between the beach, the sea, and the music. Every evening, starting at 6:30 PM, four concerts by artists and bands from the international indie, classic rock, and dance scenes take the stage. The selection focuses on quality rather than sheer numbers, within an intimate and well-curated setting.

An international lineup

Throughout its editions, the festival has brought top-tier names from the global music scene to Versilia, often as Italian exclusives. Headliners, emerging bands, and auteur projects coexist in a program designed for the most discerning fans, while remaining open to those simply looking for beautiful evenings of live music. Alongside the big names, the Next Stage program gives space to emerging Italian artists, offering them a prestigious platform.
