La Notte Romantica nei Borghi più Belli d'Italia (The Romantic Night in the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy) is the major national event that, every year at the end of June near the summer solstice, enlivens over two hundred villages in the circuit promoted by the Association I Borghi più Belli d'Italia. For one evening, the historic centres become open-air stages, where soft music, street artists, dinners under the stars, and fairytale atmospheres celebrate love and the beginning of summer. In Corinaldo, a splendid walled village in the Province of Ancona, in the Marche region, the 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, June 20th.
A village that becomes a stage
Corinaldo is one of the most evocative villages in the Marche: awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club and enclosed by one of the best-preserved defensive walls in the region, it offers the ideal setting for a night dedicated to romance. The heart of the evening is the free guided night walk through the most fascinating places in the historic centre, accompanied by stories and traditions of the town.
The itinerary touches some of the village's symbols, including the Lovers' Garden with the famous Bench of the Kiss, the scenic Piaggia, the Porta Santa Maria del Mercato, the Porta San Giovanni, and the charming views of Via del Corso, Largo XVII Settembre, and Largo X Agosto.

How to get there
By car: Corinaldo can be reached from the SS16 Adriatica road, heading up from Senigallia along the Misa valley, or from the Senigallia exit of the A14 motorway. By train: the nearest station is Senigallia, on the Adriatic line, from where you can continue by car or local bus services. Parking is available in areas outside the town walls.

Participation in the event and the guided tour is free. The romantic menus at participating restaurants are at the cost of the individual establishments.
