The major international electronic music festival at Parco Dora in Turin
Kappa FuturFestival is Italy's leading electronic music festival and one of the most globally recognized events in the industry. Every year, at the beginning of July, it transforms Parco Dora in Turin into a true international capital of techno and house, attracting fans from all over the world. Born in 2009 and established in its current identity since 2012, the festival is now one of the flagship events of the Piedmontese summer.
The setting is one of the elements that make Kappa FuturFestival unmistakable. Parco Dora, in the Spina 3 district, stands on the site of the city's former steel plant: massive steel structures, pillars, and industrial warehouses serve as a natural backdrop for the stages. This dialogue between industrial archaeology and contemporary music has become the event's trademark, drawing a young and cosmopolitan crowd to the capital of the Turin Province every summer.
The festival's reputation has long transcended national borders. Awarded Best International Festival at the Ibiza DJ Awards in 2019, Kappa FuturFestival ranked sixth in DJ Mag's Top 100 Festivals, the only Italian event in the top rankings alongside giants like Glastonbury and Coachella. Tickets for recent editions have been purchased from dozens of different countries, confirming its global appeal.
Beyond the musical programming, spread across multiple thematic stages dedicated to different electronic genres, Kappa FuturFestival offers art installations, premium experiences, and an afterparty scene that enlivens Turin throughout the event. It is an experience that thrives both by day, under the sun at Parco Dora, and by night, with the famous sets that run until midnight.
For Turin and the entire Piedmont Region, the festival represents a major tourist attraction every year: thousands of international visitors reach the city, filling hotels and accommodations during a weekend in early July. Over time, the event has implemented dedicated mobility solutions to facilitate arrival at Parco Dora.
