About K-Wave Festival

The K-Wave Festival brings a full day dedicated to K-pop and Korean culture to Poirino, in the heart of Piedmont. From morning until night, the Arena San Pé at the Agrigelateria San Pé transforms into a vast, lush green village featuring Random Dance contests, special guests, famous voice actors, DJ sets, and light shows. An event designed for the community of K-pop, anime, and Korean culture fans, as well as families and curious visitors eager to discover the Hallyu Wave phenomenon up close.

The K-Wave Festival in Poirino

The K-Wave Festival is a fresh event dedicated to K-pop and Korean culture, held in Poirino, in the province of Turin, in the heart of Piedmont. The setting is the Arena San Pé, the outdoor event space of the Agrigelateria San Pé (Cascina San Pietro), a location nestled in the green countryside of Poirino that, for one full day, becomes the gathering point for the Italian community passionate about K-pop, anime, and the Hallyu phenomenon.

A day from morning to night

The festival offers a program that spans from morning until late evening, structured into diverse segments. The day opens with an educational session dedicated to schools and the general public: an opportunity to meet and reflect on themes such as communication, respect, and anti-bullying, featuring well-known voices from the world of dubbing.

Random Dance, contests, and guests

From early afternoon, the energy shifts to the stage and the arena, with the heart of the event dedicated to the passion for dance:

  • K-pop Random Dance, the choreography game where the audience dances in real-time to the latest hits;
  • dance group contests, featuring performances by passionate dance crews;
  • meetings with guests and voice actors linked to the world of anime and Asian pop culture;
  • K-pop themed DJ sets and non-stop music until the evening;
  • an opening show with a giant LED wall for an immersive visual experience.

The Hallyu Wave in Piedmont

With the K-Wave Festival, Poirino and the Turin area join the great Hallyu movement, the Korean cultural wave that has captivated young people worldwide in recent years through music, series, anime, and fashion. The event, organized by the group La casa dei Nakama together with the Agrigelateria San Pé, combines entertainment, participation, and a concrete focus on educational topics, offering the Municipality of Poirino and the entire province of Turin an original event that breaks the mold of traditional Piedmontese festivals.
