A summer festival born from the youth of Trevi nel Lazio

The Juvenilia Program is the summer festival hosted by the Juvenilia cultural association in Trevi nel Lazio, a village of about 1,800 inhabitants in the upper Aniene Valley, in the province of Frosinone, located within the Monti Simbruini Regional Natural Park. Throughout most of August, the streets, alleys, and squares of the historic center become the backdrop for a packed calendar of events designed to offer moments of reflection, discovery, and connection, spanning various artistic and cultural expressions.

The Juvenilia Association: "Works of the Youth"

Juvenilia—literally "works of the youth"—was born from the desire of local young people in Trevi nel Lazio to gather, seeking new cultural spaces, connections, and ideas to share. For the association, culture is not an elitist pursuit, but a tool to explore every aspect of reality. Beyond the summer meeting, the group enlivens the village year-round with the LeggiAmo literary café, the CineAmo film festival, a poetic-artistic trail, photo contests, cultural trips, and a Christmas gathering.

The 2026 Edition: "What you are looking for is in your heart... like me"

From August 1st to 25th, 2026, the summer meeting returns to animate the village with the theme "What you are looking for is in your heart... like me". As per tradition, the program alternates recreational activities with literary and artistic events: cultural meetings, readings, cinema, music, entertainment, food and wine experiences, hiking, and activities dedicated to families and children. The Urban Trail on August 16th is among the events already announced.

A community festival, in harmony with the village

The Juvenilia Program is part of the broader summer calendar promoted by the Municipality of Trevi nel Lazio in collaboration with the San Pietro Eremita Committee, the inter-municipal Proloco of the Altipiani di Arcinazzo, and other local entities, with the goal of entertaining residents and tourists in the area's historic centers. It is a collective effort that perfectly captures the spirit of the Trevi summer: an entire village coming together to welcome those who head to the mountains in August.
