Camerata Nuova, a mountain town bordering Abruzzo and overlooking the picturesque Campo dell'Osso, becomes a vibrant meeting point for visitors, hikers, and food lovers for a day.

The sausage takes centre stage

The absolute star of the festival is the grilled sausage, prepared according to the traditional local recipe and served in the classic sandwich in Piazza Roma. The menu, curated by the Pro Loco volunteers, also features typical local dishes, all paired with local wine and beer. It is a simple, honest cuisine that tells the story of the rural and mountain identity of this part of Lazio, winning over everyone who makes the trip up here.

The festival is about more than just taste.
