Italia Vision Music Contest in Montesilvano

The Italia Vision Music Contest is a national musical competition dedicated to new Italian singer-songwriter music. In 2026, it enters its second edition with a traveling format across Italy. The first summer stage takes place in Montesilvano, in the province of Pescara, in the heart of Abruzzo, at the Arena dei Fiori, on August 2, 2026. The motto chosen by the organizers, "music by artists, for artists," summarizes the spirit of a project that puts emerging singer-songwriters and performers at the center.

How the contest works

The competition has a multi-stage structure that visits various Italian cities. At each stop, nine artists take the stage and perform before a jury composed of industry insiders, record labels, and music professionals. At the end of each evening, three artists are selected to advance to the national final, scheduled in Rome. In addition to the Abruzzo stage in Montesilvano, the 2026 tour stops in Molfetta, Rome, and Genoa.

Prizes and registration

The contest offers a 2,000 euro prize for the music production of the overall winner, as well as 400 euro scholarships for the winners of individual stages, which can be used for music training courses through the ASI Music Sector. Participation is open to singer-songwriters and performers residing in Italy, with no restrictions on musical genre; registration for the 2026 edition closed on June 7, 2026, via the official festival website.

Organization and the territory

The event is promoted by ASI Terzo Settore through its Music Sector, under the artistic direction of Rita De Angelis. The choice of Montesilvano as the summer opening confirms the coastal town's vocation for hosting musical and entertainment events during the summer season, enhancing the outdoor spaces along the Adriatic waterfront and offering the Abruzzo public a showcase for new talents in Italian music.
