A day of urban creativity in Follonica

Immersioni Culturali is an event celebrating the talent and creativity of the new generation in the heart of Follonica, a seaside town in the province of Grosseto, Tuscany. Launched in 2025, the event takes place in the evocative setting of the Fonderia Leopolda, the former ILVA steelworks village that has been restored and transformed into one of the most vibrant cultural hubs in the Maremma region.

Promoted by the Menura Cultural Association and curated by Federico Irace and Lorenzo Ceccarelli, the event is held under the patronage of the Municipality of Follonica. The core idea is simple yet powerful: to offer local youth a free space to express themselves through music, visual art, fashion, and urban culture.

The heart of the event: the rap contest

The most anticipated moment is the rap contest, a stage challenge between emerging talents from the Tuscan hip-hop scene. Each artist performs their own track to convince a triple jury: technical judges, the press, and above all, the audience, whose vote can overturn the predictions. It is a participatory format that makes every edition unpredictable and engaging.

Alongside the contest, the Fonderia transforms into an all-encompassing exhibition space:
