Organized by the Pro Loco Roccatederighi, the festival takes place every July, celebrating the region's hunting traditions alongside the authentic flavors of Maremma cuisine.

Three days dedicated to the flavors of the Maremma

For three evenings, the village comes alive with food stalls set up by Pro Loco volunteers, where the undisputed stars are dishes based on game: wild boar stew, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and other specialties rooted in the rural and hunting traditions of the Maremma. The festival is an opportunity to rediscover a culinary heritage tied to the history of the area, where hunting has always been a defining element of these hillside communities.

Roccatederighi is an ancient and evocative village resting on a spur of volcanic rock in the hills of the Upper Maremma. The festival evenings unfold through the streets and squares of the historic center, in a convivial atmosphere that draws locals, tourists, and visitors from neighboring towns.
