HOPstuni Beer Fest: craft beer in the White City

The HOPstuni Beer Fest is a celebration dedicated to craft beer held in the Sandro Pertini Municipal Park in Ostuni, in the province of Brindisi, in the heart of Puglia. The wordplay in the name combines the English term hop (the key ingredient in beer) with the name of the famous White City, capturing the spirit of the event: to share and showcase the best local craft brewing production.

A festival born from a passion for brewing

The event was established in 2024 by the Cheficolab laboratory and the independent pub Bellinfusto, two Ostuni-based entities deeply connected to the world of quality beer. In a very short time, HOPstuni Beer Fest has become a highly anticipated end-of-summer appointment, transforming the Municipal Park into a vast beer garden where visitors can sit, taste, and discover new styles and producers.

Breweries and beer culture

The heart of the event lies in the Apulian craft breweries that keep the taps flowing with their creations. Past editions have featured producers such as BirrApulia, Birranova, SBAM!, Lieviteria, MOI beer, and Birra del Gargano, joined by guest breweries from outside the region. The selection of beers is curated with the expertise of those who truly understand the craft beer scene, aiming to offer the public a varied and high-quality tasting journey.

Music, street food, and workshops

Beyond the beer, HOPstuni Beer Fest offers a rich entertainment program: live concerts, DJ sets, street performer shows, and dedicated areas for children. The gastronomic side is well-represented, with food trucks and street food stands accompanying the tastings. There is also space for brewing culture with workshops and in-depth sessions led by experts and master brewers, designed for those who want to learn how to identify different styles and ingredients.

Ostuni, the White City

The setting for the event is one of Puglia's most evocative locations: Ostuni, known as the White City for the brilliance of its lime-washed houses, perched on three hills just a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea. The Municipal Park, a central green space in the city, provides an ideal environment for an open-air event that combines great beer, music, and conviviality in one of the most beloved tourist destinations in the Salento and Itria Valley areas.
