Every late October, the Halloween Night Fest lights up the historic center of Casarano, in the province of Lecce, turning Piazza D'Elia into a massive themed village. Pumpkins, cobwebs, elaborate sets, and costumed performers create an atmosphere suspended between play and thrills, making it one of the most popular evenings on the city's calendar. The event is organized by Pro Loco Casarano with the patronage of the Municipality of Casarano and the Puglia Region.

Two spirits, one unique festival

The event is designed to cater to diverse audiences. For those seeking thrills, there is the horror trail for adults, an immersive and adrenaline-pumping experience winding through the alleys and spaces of the old town. For children, the palace transforms into a school of magic with the Harry Potter-themed area: house sorting, interactive magical activities, and the arrival of characters inspired by the famous saga by carriage. A dual approach that makes the festival perfect for families, teenagers, and genre enthusiasts alike.

Music, entertainment, and street food

The soundtrack for the evenings is provided by DJ sets and performances by dance groups, keeping the square lively until late. Between attractions, there are professional performers, photo installations, stage makeup, video projections, and continuous entertainment. To complete the experience, street food stalls offer the seasonal flavors of the region, allowing you to enjoy the festival through its food as well.

A growing tradition

The event is rooted in the Halloween initiatives that the Casarano community has dedicated to its citizens for years: from editions designed primarily for children, it has evolved into a broader and more structured format capable of attracting visitors from across Salento. Choosing the historic center as the stage strengthens the bond between the festival and the town's identity, highlighting the squares and historic palaces of Casarano.

With free admission and a multi-evening format, the Halloween Night Fest has become one of the most anticipated late-October events in Salento and Puglia.
