Artisan pizza, craft beers, and live music at Parco Acqua Santa
The Grani Toscani – Chianciano Pizza Festival is a celebration of artisan pizza and quality grains that brings the Parco Acqua Santa in Chianciano Terme, in the province of Siena, to life in the heart of the Valdichiana Senese. Established in 2025, the event has quickly combined a passion for fine Tuscan dining, live music, and a strong commitment to charity, becoming a highly anticipated local spring tradition.
The star of the show is wood-fired pizza, prepared with quality Tuscan grains and crafted by local pizza chefs and students from the local hospitality school. It is paired with a selection of craft beers from local breweries. Every evening, the ovens are lit starting at 6:00 PM, turning the park into a large open-air gathering spot for families, residents, and visitors.
The three evenings are punctuated by live concerts and DJ sets that keep the park stage buzzing until late. The festival alternates between bands, tribute acts, and musical guests, offering a program designed to engage audiences of all ages, while children enjoy the bouncy castles and dedicated play areas.
The heart of the festival is solidarity: all proceeds are donated to the fundraising campaign for the purchase of a portable X-ray machine for the Radiology department of the Nottola Hospital. The event is promoted by the Consulta delle Associazioni with the support of the Chianciano Terme municipal administration and the collaboration of various associations from the Valdichiana Senese.
Famous throughout Italy for its thermal baths, Chianciano Terme is a spa and tourist destination in southern Tuscany, just a stone's throw from Montepulciano, Pienza, and Chiusi. The Parco Acqua Santa, with its lush green spaces, is the ideal setting for a convivial local festival that celebrates regional products and a sense of community.
The 2026 edition of the Chianciano Pizza Festival brought the Parco Acqua Santa to life for three consecutive evenings, from April 10 to 12, with wood-fired ovens lit every night from 6:00 PM. Artisan pizza crafted by local pizza chefs and hospitality students, local craft beers, bouncy castles for children, and live music provided the backdrop for an event with a strong spirit of solidarity, with proceeds going to the Nottola Hospital.
