Granda Land of Beer

A beer festival in the heart of Piedmont

Granda Land of Beer is a celebration of craft beer held at the Castle of Lagnasco, in the town of Lagnasco, province of Cuneo, right in the heart of Piedmont. The event was born from Birrificio Della Granda's desire to return to its roots and celebrate the land where it all began, transforming the courtyard of one of the most evocative manors in the Saluzzo area into a great gathering place centered around beer.

Birrificio Della Granda: 15 years of brewing

Birrificio Della Granda was founded in 2011 by Ivano Astesana right here in Lagnasco. Over more than a decade, it has taken the town's name across Italy and abroad, building national and international partnerships. Granda Land of Beer marks the moment this journey comes home: a festival designed not as self-celebration, but as an opportunity for sharing, where craft beer is presented without pretense, to be enjoyed in an authentic and direct way by enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.

Guest breweries and beers

Alongside the hosts, the event brings together four of the most recognizable names in the Italian brewing scene, each presenting three beers created through direct collaborations with Granda:

• La Piazza (Turin)
• Menaresta (Brianza)
• Canediguerra (Alessandria)
• Ritual Lab (Rome)

The result is a wide and varied selection: light and balanced easy-drinking beers, as well as hoppier, more intense styles, plus fruity variants, served on tap or in cans. These aren't "monument" beers to be studied in silence, but labels meant to be drunk and shared.

Gastronomy and music

Catering is provided by the Lagnasco Pro Loco, with a self-service setup hosted in a marquee with about 200 seats. The menu features burgers, meat platters, and a pasta dish, designed to pair perfectly with the beer tasting. The evenings are enlivened by DJ sets from Faber Moreira, a DJ with over thirty years of experience in Italian and international venues, who accompanies the audience throughout the festival.
