The Mercato del Giusto iNperfetto is the event that enlivens Castello Cabiaglio, a small mountain municipality in the Province of Varese, at the foot of Campo dei Fiori. Now in its eleventh edition in 2026, the spring event brings together small local producers, artisans, and hobbyists from all over the province, with a particular focus on organic and handmade products.

A festival for the whole village

The stalls are spread throughout the streets and squares of the village, transforming it into an open-air journey through nature, taste, and craftsmanship. The day is full of activities for all ages: the swap space for children, book presentations at the Civic Library, a treasure hunt through the alleys, street food with Varese craft beer, and artisanal ice cream.

Sustainability and community

The initiative was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Castello Cabiaglio and the cultural association Matrioska, with the stated goal of keeping "the small communities of the mountain territories alive" through human relationships and solidarity. More than just a market, it is a cultural project that values slowness, sustainability, and the connection with the territory.

For those who do not know Castello Cabiaglio, this festival is also an opportunity to discover an authentic village in the Varese area, immersed in the greenery of the Campo dei Fiori Park. A small gem where the idea of "fair" and "iNperfect" consumption finds its ideal setting.
