Orticolario is one of the most important Italian events dedicated to gardening, landscape culture, and the beauty of greenery. It takes place in the centuries-old park of Villa Erba, in Cernobbio, Province of Como, and offers a unique formula that intertwines horticulture, art, design, and landscape culture under the banner of "evolved gardening".

Rare plants, art, and landscape design

The festival brings together around 250 selected exhibitors: horticulturists with rare and collectible plants, artisans, designers, and landscape creators. Alongside the stands, artistic installations and the renowned International Creative Spaces Competition transform the park into a journey of discovery, where every corner reveals an idea, a colour, a scent.

A different theme each year

Each edition is built around a theme that inspires layouts, creative spaces, and the cultural program. The event features workshops, meetings, activities for children and young people, and a rich calendar of events dedicated to green culture, as well as a food and wine offering that highlights local flavours.

Beauty and social commitment

Organized by S.O.G.E.O. srl Impresa Sociale, Orticolario combines the promotion of landscape culture with charitable and social purposes. The setting of Villa Erba, overlooking Lake Como, and the boat access from Como included in the ticket make the visit a complete experience, attracting enthusiasts from all over Italy and abroad to Cernobbio.
