The distinctive feature of the event is its dress code: all participants are invited to wear a plaid shirt, whether country chic, vintage, or modern. The Gingham Picnic program combines entertainment with popular tradition:

• The option to bring your own basket or enjoy the products of the Alpeggio Menzio, which produces mountain cheeses, ricotta, yogurt, milk, and cured meats.

Organization and spirit of the event

The event is promoted by the Priori di Usseglio, the group that enlivens the town's social life and wanted to create an informal and welcoming gathering. The Gingham Picnic is designed as an eco-sustainable event: participants are encouraged to use reusable tableware to reduce waste. As this is an outdoor mountain event, it will be cancelled in case of rain.
