Gin takes center stage in Montesilvano

For the first time, the Gin & Tonic Festival arrives in Abruzzo, choosing the Arena dei Fiori in Montesilvano, a coastal town in the province of Pescara. From July 17 to 19, 2026, the open-air space on Via Alberto D'Andrea will transform into a massive village dedicated to the most beloved spirit of the moment, open continuously from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM. This traveling national event celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2026, bringing a formula that has already captivated major Italian cities to the Abruzzo region.

Over 400 labels to taste

The heart of the festival is the tasting experience: more than 400 gin labels from around the world, categorized by geographical origin to guide visitors through a journey of local and international producers. A significant space is reserved for local distilleries, featuring names such as Aureo Gin, MonteMatto, AE Organic Gin, and SCUPPOZ Gin. Premium gin and tonics are offered at a fixed price, allowing guests to sample different botanicals and styles in a single evening.

Masterclasses, The Gin Lab, and activities

The educational component is led by free masterclasses organized in collaboration with the portal ilGin.it, featuring guests like Marco Bertoncini. The Gin Lab also returns—an interactive experience where participants create their own personalized botanical recipe and take home a bottle crafted during the session. Alongside the tastings, there will be food trucks, an artisan market, a family-friendly area, and the official Gin Shop for purchases.

Music and DJ sets until late

Every evening is accompanied by live music and DJ sets. In the afternoons, the 'Music Lunch' format enlivens the aperitif hour, while the evenings feature themed nights with guest DJs and bands, creating an atmosphere that blends gin culture with entertainment under the Abruzzo stars.

Founded in Bergamo in 2016, the Gin & Tonic Festival has established itself as the premier Italian event dedicated to the world of gin.
