Antiques, vintage finds, and handicrafts in the historic center of Giaveno
The Flea Market and Craft Fair is one of the most beloved events on the calendar in Giaveno, a charming town in the Val Sangone valley, about thirty kilometers from Turin in the Piedmont region. One Sunday a month, the town's historic center comes alive with colorful stalls, vendors, and visitors searching for rare finds or simply enjoying a stroll. Organized by the City of Giaveno, the event celebrates tradition, creativity, and a passion for timeless objects.
The heart of the event spans Piazza Molines, Piazza San Lorenzo, and Via Roma, where approximately 120 vendors set up their displays. The selection is vast, catering to both serious collectors and casual enthusiasts alike:
Strolling through the stalls feels like stepping back in time, where every object tells a story and the search for a unique piece becomes a small journey through memory.
The edition on April 26, 2026, features a special space dedicated to the magic of minerals and handmade crafts: the Crystal Hobbyists' Square, set up in the picturesque Piazza Sant'Antero. Here, expert hobbyists and artisans showcase original creations, minerals, crystals, and unique products, further expanding the variety of the event.
The market returns regularly one Sunday a month (usually the fourth) for most of the year, becoming a landmark for second-hand goods and antiques in the area west of Turin. Its proven formula, the charming setting in Giaveno's historic center, and the relaxed hours from morning to late afternoon make it an ideal destination for a Sunday outing, perfect to combine with exploring the Val Sangone territory.
