Three days of live music and visual art in the historic center of Notaresco
The Game Over Music Fest is a summer festival of live music and visual arts held in the historic center of Notaresco, a hilltop village in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo. For three days, the town's squares and alleys become a sprawling stage for concerts, graphic installations, and social gatherings, with the ambition of transforming the urban fabric into a sonic and imaginative landscape in constant dialogue with the territory.
The festival offers an eclectic musical program ranging from singer-songwriters and indie rock to electronic and experimental sounds, showcasing both well-known names from the Italian scene and emerging young talents. Alongside the concerts, the artistic project features site-specific installations: modular graphic interventions that engage with the architecture and identity of the village, integrating the visual dimension with the musical one.
Admission to the Game Over Music Fest is free. In Piazza Civitello, the heart of the event, a food and beverage area is set up every evening, featuring craft beers and local specialties to accompany the music and social atmosphere. The format aims to engage an intergenerational audience, with a particular focus on young people and the town's cultural life.
The festival is promoted by the Toro Loco Aps Cultural Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Notaresco. Included in the Abruzzo summer calendar, the festival is an opportunity to discover a village in the Teramo hinterland, a short distance from the Adriatic coast and the Gran Sasso National Park, combining the discovery of local heritage with a contemporary cultural offering. Born in 2025, the festival has quickly established itself as one of the most original musical events of the Teramo summer.
The second edition of the Game Over Music Fest will be held in Notaresco (province of Teramo, Abruzzo) from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2026. The free-entry format combining live music, visual art installations, and local food in the village's historic center is confirmed.
Among the first artists announced are Sick Tamburo, expected on July 24, 2026, with their Mexican Tour 2026. The full lineup for the three evenings is currently being finalized: updates on the program and other guests will be announced by the organizers on the event's official channels.
Notaresco is located in the hilly hinterland of the province of Teramo, in Abruzzo. By car, it can be reached via the A14 motorway (exit Roseto degli Abruzzi or Mosciano Sant'Angelo). The nearest train station is Roseto degli Abruzzi, on the Adriatic line, from which you can continue by bus or car.
Admission to the festival is free. The events take place in the historic center, with the food and drink area set up in Piazza Civitello. For dates, times, and program updates, it is recommended to check the event's official social media channels.
