The city-wide week of innovation and the future in Turin
Future Week Turin is a major city-wide event that, for an entire week, turns the Piedmontese capital into an open platform dedicated to innovation, technology, and the culture of the future. Promoted as part of the national Future Week format, the festival brings hundreds of free, public events to the city, spread across dozens of different venues: university campuses, tech hubs, cultural spaces, and urban labs become the beating heart of a collective reflection on how we are building tomorrow for seven days.
The 2026 edition revolves around the concept of "Raw Material", understood as the set of skills, relationships, knowledge, and intangible resources to be transformed into concrete projects. The program is divided into four main thematic areas that intertwine the worlds of research, business, and creativity:
The strength of Future Week Turin lies in its widespread and participatory nature: the official opening is held in the Aula Magna of the Campus Luigi Einaudi of the University of Turin, while events continue in over one hundred involved locations, including OGR Torino, the SAA School of Management, the spaces of EDIT Torino, Combo Torino, and the City of Turin's House of Emerging Technologies. Formats range from talks to discussion panels, from practical workshops to future-thinking hackathons, with a closing ceremony traditionally hosted in a symbolic city venue.
Conceived and promoted by the benefit corporation SCAI Comunicazione, with the local collaboration of Feel the Beat, Future Week Turin is one of the stops on the national Future Week network, which fosters dialogue between Italian cities on the theme of innovation. The event involves institutions, universities, companies, startups, associations, and independent entities, presenting an image of a Turin capable of combining its historic industrial vocation with a new creative and digital energy.
Free and accessible to all upon registration, Future Week Turin is a unique opportunity for citizens, students, professionals, and the curious to connect with the protagonists of innovation, discover new scenarios, and experience the city in a fresh light. An event that confirms the role of Turin and Piedmont as fertile ground for research, technology, and creative cultures.
