The swap, recycling, and reuse market in Guardabosone
Fuori Tutto – Tutti Fuori! is the spring event that transforms the streets of Guardabosone, a tiny village in the province of Vercelli, into a large, widespread market dedicated to swapping and recovery every April 25th. The initiative, promoted by the Municipality of Guardabosone in collaboration with local associations, was born with a clear spirit: to give new life to forgotten objects, showcase artisan creativity, and create a meeting point for residents and visitors in the heart of northern Piedmont.
The heart of the event is the swap, recycling, and recovery market: anyone can display and trade unused items and books while strolling past stalls set up along Via Roma, in Piazza Repubblica, and in the village courtyards. Alongside private individuals, artisans showcase their unique creations, and there is also a corner dedicated to garden seed swapping, a small ritual cherished by gardening and nature enthusiasts.
The day is not limited to the market. In the spaces of the former elementary school on Via Roma, a photography exhibition curated by the Fotogruppo Noveis is set up, which remains open even after the festival. In the afternoon, there is a book presentation followed by an evocative carillon concert, while the Natural History Museum opens its doors to welcome visitors to its collections.
Guardabosone is one of the most characteristic villages in the lower Valsesia, known for its compact historic center and its Natural History Museum. Participating in Fuori Tutto – Tutti Fuori! means combining the sustainability of reuse with the discovery of an authentic town, far from mass tourism, where community spirit is still the main focus.
The 2026 edition confirmed the formula beloved by the village, enlivening the streets of Guardabosone with the swap, recycling, and recovery market, along with artisans and their unique pieces.
Refreshment points along the route managed by Osteria La Barrique, the Carnival Committee, and the Circolo Agricolo Terrieri.
Saturday, April 25th, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Along Via Roma and in Piazza Repubblica, Guardabosone (VC). The photography exhibition is held at the former elementary school at Via Roma 32; the Natural History Museum is located at Via Roma 17.
By car: Guardabosone can be reached via the A26 motorway, taking the Romagnano Sesia–Ghemme exit and continuing towards Valsesia. The nearest train station is in Borgosesia. Arriving by car is recommended given the village's location.
Admission to the event is free. Refreshment points managed by local entities are available along the route.
