Fuori Festa Bike is one of the most beloved summer events for families in Alba Adriatica, a seaside town on the Teramo coast in Abruzzo. Launched in 2024, the event puts cycling at the heart of a large open-air festival dedicated primarily to children. For one day, the seafront fills with bikes, music, games, and smiles, creating a shared atmosphere that brings together both young and old.

Organizers

The event is conceived and managed by the Fuorisella Bike association, led by Ermanno Di Giosia, in collaboration with the CSI Teramo Provincial Committee (Italian Sports Center) and under the patronage of the Municipality of Alba Adriatica and the Province of Teramo. The contribution of local volunteers and organizations, such as the Grisù Association - Friends of the Teramo Firefighters, is essential in making the children's most anticipated activity possible.

What to expect at Fuori Festa Bike

The program is entirely designed for children's safe enjoyment and the promotion of sustainable mobility. Key activities at each edition include:

• Bike obstacle course: A track where children test their balance and cycling skills.
• Pompieropoli: A fun, educational circuit run by the Firefighters and the Grisù association, where kids become firefighters for a day.
• Cycling gymnastics, games, and entertainment led by the CSI staff.
• Food trucks and refreshment points along the route.
• Live music and concerts to wrap up the day on a high note.

A growing success

The inaugural edition on June 19, 2024, in Piazza del Popolo, saw over 250 children participate. In 2025, the festival expanded and moved to the Lungomare Marconi, between Via Toscana and Via Abruzzo, becoming a staple event marking the end of the local summer season. The event reaffirms Alba Adriatica's reputation as a family-friendly destination where sports, tourism, and hospitality traditions meet along the Riviera of the seven Teramo hills.
