Three nights of music, aperitifs, and entertainment in the courtyard of the Castelli di Lagnasco
Fruttin Music is the musical event organized by the Pro Loco of Lagnasco, a small town in the Saluzzo plains in the province of Cuneo, in southwestern Piedmont. The event takes place in the outer courtyard of the Castelli Tapparelli d'Azeglio, the fortified complex that serves as the town's landmark, and offers three consecutive nights of live music, aperitifs, gastronomy, and entertainment in a youthful and convivial atmosphere.
The festival's format spans an entire spring weekend. Friday night kicks off with dinner accompanied by the live music of the Divina Show, bringing rhythm and spectacle to the tables set up in the castle courtyard. Saturday is dedicated to the Aperi-music, featuring an aperitif, pizza, and a long DJ set that turns the courtyard into an open-air dance floor, keeping the crowd dancing until late. Sunday closes the festival with the comedy-theater show Risatissima 2.0, staged by the Junior Pro Loco together with a local troupeโan event designed for families and all ages.
Fruttin Music is not just about music and fun: the event has a strong charitable mission. Proceeds from the evenings are donated to local social initiatives, confirming the role of the Lagnasco Pro Loco as a driving force for community life. The most recent edition drew over 1,200 total attendees, with very high peak crowds during the headline nights, and successfully raised funds for a local charity.
Lagnasco is one of the most vibrant centers of Piedmontese fruit farming, known for its high-quality apples and peaches and for the famous Fruttinfiore festival. Fruttin Music represents its younger, more festive side: a modern village festival that highlights the historic setting of the Castelli and strengthens the bond between the Lagnasco community, local associations, and the visitors who travel to the Saluzzo area every year to enjoy these open-air evenings.
The Lagnasco Pro Loco hosted three nights in the courtyard of the Castelli Tapparelli d'Azeglio.
