Every year, on a late June evening, Piazza Belvedere fills with long tables, delicious scents, and music for a festival with a clear goal: to raise funds for the oncology department of Chieti Hospital. The 'Donare con il cuore' Association

Behind the event is the Donare con il cuore association, founded by people who have personally experienced the pain of losing a loved one and chose to transform that experience into a concrete commitment to those facing suffering. In just a few years, the association has brought together about a hundred members and has already raised and donated over 10,000 euros to the departments of Chieti Hospital. The Fried Pizza for Solidarity is the most well-known moment of this journey, but not the only one: throughout the year, the group also organizes charity dinners and other initiatives to support local healthcare.

An evening of taste and music

The evening's program revolves around the food stalls, with fried pizza as the absolute star, prepared by volunteers and served to the public filling the square from 7:00 PM. Along with the taste, there is live music, with cover bands enlivening the square until late at night: in the last edition, the show paid tribute to the greatest hits of Adriano Celentano. The atmosphere is typical of Abruzzo village festivals—informal and welcoming, with families, children, and visitors from neighboring towns gathered under the same sky.
