The Romagna wine exhibition at Fiera di Forlì
The Forlì Wine Festival is the major wine event that every year, in January, transforms the exhibition center of Forlì into a meeting point between producers and enthusiasts. Organized by Romagna Fiere Srl at Fiera di Forlì, in the province of Forlì-Cesena (Emilia-Romagna), the exhibition brings together over 500 labels presented directly by wineries in a single weekend, with the opportunity to taste and chat with those who produce the wine.
The festival brings together around 200 exhibitors and welcomes around 15,000 visitors each edition. The heart of the event is the free tasting journey: with a single ticket, visitors receive a glass and a personalized bag and can taste wines from all Italian regions, from native grape varieties to great denominations, with a dedicated area also for Emilia-Romagna's production.
The Forlì Wine Festival takes place concurrently with SapEur, the fair of quality typical Italian products, creating a combination of good drinking and good food that enlivens the entire exhibition center. The event also enjoys the collaboration and patronage of AIS Romagna (Italian Sommelier Association), which organizes guided tastings and in-depth sessions.
Born as a showcase for the best wine-producing realities of the territory, the festival has become over the years an anticipated event in the Romagna food and wine calendar. Its formula—free tasting, direct contact with producers, and attention to wine culture—has made it an ideal occasion for both experts and those taking their first steps into the world of enology.
The 2026 edition, the eleventh, was held from Friday, January 23 to Sunday, January 25, at Fiera di Forlì. The event showcased over 500 labels presented by approximately 200 exhibitors, featuring wines from all Italian regions and an international selection from France, Slovenia, Austria, Chile, Hungary, and South Africa. Alongside wine, there was an area dedicated to spirits and liqueurs, and food stands offering cured meats, cheeses, and fresh pasta. The event took place concurrently with the 23rd edition of SapEur, the fair for quality typical products.
The program includes the free tasting journey among the producers' stands, guided tastings, and in-depth sessions curated by AIS Romagna, as well as the spirits area and SapEur's food stands.
Fiera di Forlì is located at Via Punta di Ferro 2, on the outskirts of the city. It is easily reachable by car from the Forlì exit of the A14 motorway. By train, the exhibition center is connected to Forlì station by local public transport. Ample parking is available on-site.
The tasting journey costs 15 euros and includes unlimited tastings, a glass, and a personalized glass holder bag.
Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM, Sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
