At the foot of the majestic dome of the Sanctuary of Vicoforte, in the heart of the Monregalese area in the province of Cuneo, one of Piedmont's most spectacular events for fans of American motors comes to life every year: the Foam's American Day. For three days, usually during the third weekend of June, the event area along the Statale 28 road fills with roaring muscle cars, hot rods, custom builds, pick-ups, and motorcycles strictly Made in the USA, in an atmosphere redolent of the fifties, rock 'n' roll, and freedom on four wheels.

More than just a gathering: a celebration of American motors

American Day is not just a static car show: it is a true festival that combines a passion for American vehicles with live music and entertainment. Among the stands, the drink area, and the street food, the public can admire meticulously restored vintage cars up close, chat with collectors, and immerse themselves in the vibe of a great American rally. The soundtrack is provided by bands and DJs playing rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, and overseas classics, while the pin-up contest showcases the retro style and elegance of that era.

Who organizes the event

Behind the event is the F.O.A.M. Club - Friends of American Motors, an association founded in 2012 in Vicoforte by a group of friends united by their passion for American engines. The club, based on Via al Santuario, organizes various initiatives throughout the year related to the world of American cars, including regularity trials and scenic tours in the Monregalese valleys. American Day, reaching its fourteenth edition in 2026, is its flagship event and attracts crews and visitors from all over Piedmont and beyond every year.

Free admission for everyone

One of the strengths of Foam's American Day is its accessibility: admission is completely free for crews, passengers, and visitors, and there is no registration fee for Made in the USA vehicles. Free camping is also available for those who want to fully experience the atmosphere of the gathering. It is the perfect occasion for families, enthusiasts, and curious onlookers who want to spend a different kind of weekend, surrounded by engines, music, and good food in the splendid setting of the Municipality of Vicoforte.
