The Festival of Flavors is one of the most cherished gastronomic events by the Circolo Arci San Lazzaro, a historic association in the Municipality of San Lazzaro di Savena, in the first belt of Bologna. Far from major media events, it is an authentically popular festival: home cooking, volunteers at the stoves, and that convivial atmosphere that can only be found in village clubs in Emilia-Romagna.

The heart of the festival is the menu, built around the great classics of Bolognese cuisine. On the table come the unmissable tagliatelle with ragù and lasagna, accompanied by the warmth of dishes based on porcini mushrooms and onions, with the addition of some seasonal surprise dishes. Fresh pasta, the pride of the region, is the true protagonist of these evenings.

The event takes place at the Sala 77 of Circolo Arci San Lazzaro, at Via Bellaria 7, in San Lazzaro di Savena, in the province of Bologna. The days are spread between late May and the June 2nd holiday weekend: on some dates only dinner service is available (6:00 PM - 9:00 PM), on others also lunch (11:00 AM - 2:30 PM).

The 2026 edition of the Festival of Flavors enlivened the Circolo Arci San Lazzaro for five days between late May and early June, in San Lazzaro di Savena.

How to get there
The Circolo Arci San Lazzaro is located at Via Bellaria 7, in San Lazzaro di Savena (BO). It is easily reachable by car from the Via Emilia or from the San Lazzaro highway exit (A14). By train, the reference station is Bologna Centrale, connected to San Lazzaro by public transport.
Opening hours
Lunch from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM; dinner from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. On some days, only evening service is available.
