In Costabissara, in the province of Vicenza, the Festival of Fish and Vicentina-Style Cod pays homage to one of the most beloved and iconic dishes of the Veneto region. Vicentina-style cod – dried cod slow-cooked with milk, onion, and oil – is a recipe protected by a brotherhood and deeply rooted in the gastronomic culture of Vicenza.
Fish and specialties at PalaCosta
The event takes place at the PalaCosta in via Monte Grappa, where a large food stand offers numerous fish specialties in addition to the festival's main dish. The evenings are accompanied by musical entertainment, in a convivial atmosphere that attracts food lovers from all over the area.
