The flavours of the autumn harvest in the historic centre of Valdagno
The Festival of Agriculture is the celebration of the autumn harvest in Valdagno, in the Agno Valley in the province of Vicenza. Organized by the ProValdagno Association together with the Municipality of Valdagno, it enlivens the historic centre with the products, flavours, and knowledge of the local peasant tradition.
The stalls offer typical seasonal dishes โ fritters, marroni (roasted chestnuts), turbinello, and local specialties โ alongside the mycological exhibition dedicated to mushrooms, which attracts enthusiasts and curious visitors every year.
The festival is also a journey into rural memory: the display of vintage tractors, workshops on ancient crafts such as pasta making with a press and grape stomping, historical reenactments, and folk dances bring the peasant life of yesteryear back to the square.
The programme also includes historical and cultural walks in the historic centre of Valdagno and cycle tourism routes along the itineraries of the Little Dolomites, combining culture, gastronomy, and discovery of the territory in an autumn weekend.
The 2026 Festival of Agriculture is scheduled for the first weekend of October in the historic centre of Valdagno. The traditional format is confirmed โ harvest gastronomy, mycological exhibition, vintage tractor display, ancient crafts, workshops, and cycle tourism routes in the Little Dolomites โ with exact dates to be confirmed by ProValdagno and the Municipality.
