The Festival of Bigoli co' l'Arna is a historic event in Zanè, a municipality in Alto Vicentino, province of Vicenza. Founded in 1975 (with early editions dating back to 1972), the festival is dedicated to the town's signature dish: bigoli co' l'arna, which means bigoli pasta with duck sauce, recognised as a De.Co. (Municipal Designation) of Zanè.
A festival growing for half a century
In 2025, the festival celebrated its 50th edition, a milestone that testifies to the deep roots of this event in the community. Organised by the Pro Loco Zanè, it takes place every year on the first weekend of October, under a large marquee of approximately 2,800 sq m, welcoming thousands of visitors from all over the Vicenza area.
Cuisine, music, and tradition
In addition to bigoli co' l'arna, the food stand offers traditional Vicenza dishes, accompanied by music, dancing, sporting events, and parades. A mix of flavour and fun that makes the festival one of the most anticipated autumn events in Alto Vicentino.
Festival of Bigoli co' l'Arna — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festival of Bigoli co' l'Arna will be the 51st, after the historic half-century celebrated in 2025. The Pro Loco Zanè will once again offer, on the first weekend of October, the town's signature dish – bigoli with De.Co. duck sauce – along with traditional Vicenza cuisine, music, dancing, sporting events, and parades, all under the large 2,800 sq m marquee. Precise dates will be published by the Pro Loco in the weeks leading up to the event.
