Art, nature, and wellness at the Parco Arte Pineta in Cavareno
The Festival delle Armonie is a cultural event held in Cavareno, in the Upper Val di Non, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. Its first edition, in June 2026, coincided with the official inauguration of the Parco Arte Pineta, a new space commissioned by the Municipality of Cavareno and entirely dedicated to the encounter between artistic expression and natural balance.
The park is a true open-air museum, where the pine forest becomes a living work of art: the land art installations, created with natural materials, engage with the landscape in an authentic balance of creativity, sustainability, and contemplation.
The trail follows a loop of approximately 1.2 kilometers, easy and accessible to everyone, which can be covered on foot, by bicycle, or with trekking strollers in about half an hour. Along the way, you will encounter seven permanent works inspired by nature and the local heritage:
The park also offers picnic areas, barbecue spots, fountains, relaxation zones, a natural amphitheater, and the historic First World War trenches.
The festival offers a day of immersive activities designed to reconnect visitors with the woodland environment. Among the most popular offerings: forest bathing (shinrin-yoku) sessions, meditative walks, family yoga, digital detox practices, guided sensory paths, and creative workshops using techniques such as botanical cyanotype and creating forest mandalas. The heart of the experience is "Essere Bosco", an immersive sound installation to be heard via wireless headphones along the trail.
The cultural vision of the project is entrusted to artistic director Massimiliano Rosa, supported by Massimiliano Corrà and Stefano Delugan. The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Cavareno together with the Val di Non Tourism Board, the Val di Non Community, and in collaboration with Ledro Art, with the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
The Festival delle Armonie and the Parco Arte Pineta represent an ideal stop for those seeking an authentic experience in Val di Non, where contemporary art blends with the Trentino mountains and the slow rhythm of nature. An invitation to slow down, breathe, and let yourself be guided by the harmonies of the forest.
The first edition of the Festival delle Armonie took place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Parco Arte Pineta in Cavareno, in the Val di Non. The day marked the official inauguration of the open-air museum and saw a high level of public participation.
Activities began at 9:00 AM with the open-air Land Art Hub and continued until 6:00 PM, when a wild aperitif featuring local products was offered at the park's natural amphitheater. Artistic director Massimiliano Rosa illustrated the cultural vision of the project.
