FestinVal - Flavors and Colors of the Savio Valley is the major food, wine, and cultural fair that, every year at the end of September, enlivens the historic center of San Piero in Bagno, the main town of the Municipality of Bagno di Romagna, in the Province of Forlì-Cesena (Emilia-Romagna). Founded in the nineties, the event has grown to become one of the most anticipated appointments in the Upper Savio Valley, attracting thousands of visitors from Romagna and the nearby Casentino area of Tuscany.
Two weekends of flavors, colors, and aromas
FestinVal spans two consecutive weekends, transforming the town's squares and streets into a continuous route of stands and stalls. Over a hundred exhibitors bring the festival to life: local producers, artisans, hobbyists, and associations offer typical products, handmade crafts, tastings, and specialties of Romagnol and Apennine cuisine. It's the ideal opportunity to discover the flavors of the Upper Savio Valley, from cheeses to cured meats, from forest products to traditional desserts, all in a festive atmosphere that delights both young and old.
The livestock exhibition and peasant traditions
One of the elements that distinguishes FestinVal from many other local festivals is the livestock exhibition, held on the first weekend: an event that brings the authentic bond between the town and its agricultural and pastoral heritage back to the square, with animal displays and moments dedicated to the rural world. Alongside the stalls, there are street performances, live music, DJ sets, parades, and entertainment for children, accompanying visitors throughout the day.
An event of the "I Percorsi del Savio" project
The event is organized by the Pro Loco of San Piero in Bagno and is part of the "I Percorsi del Savio" calendar, the network promoting events and excellences of the valley. With its mix of gastronomy, crafts, culture, and tradition, FestinVal is the best way to bid farewell to summer and experience the authentic hospitality of Bagno di Romagna, a land of thermal waters, forests, and Apennine villages.

FestinVal 2026, the 30th edition
The "I Percorsi del Savio" project has confirmed the holding of FestinVal in San Piero in Bagno from September 19 to 27, 2026, spread as tradition dictates over the last two weekends of the month. This is a special edition, the thirtieth, which re-proposes the proven formula of the major food and wine and cultural fair of the Upper Savio Valley.
The streets and squares of the town will welcome over a hundred stalls featuring local producers, artisans, and exhibitors, with tastings of typical products, food stands, the usual livestock exhibition on the first weekend, and a rich program of live music, DJ sets, shows, and entertainment for the little ones.

The detailed program for the 30th edition, including times, artists, and daily events, will be announced by the Pro Loco of San Piero in Bagno and the "I Percorsi del Savio" project in the weeks leading up to the event.
Based on the established structure over the years, FestinVal is divided into two weekends with: over a hundred stalls of typical products and crafts along the town's streets, a livestock exhibition on the first weekend, food stands, street performances, DJ sets, and live music concerts, as well as entertainment and games for children.

Location
FestinVal takes place in the historic center of San Piero in Bagno, a hamlet and administrative capital of the Municipality of Bagno di Romagna (FC), with the heart of the event in Piazza Salvador Allende and along the main streets of the town.
How to get here
San Piero in Bagno can be reached from the E45 (Cesena-Rome), exit Bagno di Romagna/San Piero in Bagno; from Cesena, take the SS3 bis towards the Upper Savio Valley. Parking areas are available near the center during the fair.
Opening hours and admission
The event is held on the last two weekends of September, generally with continuous hours from morning to evening. Admission is free.
