The De.Co. Trout Festival

The Festa della Trota takes place in the locality of Molino di Altissimo, in the municipality of Altissimo, in the province of Vicenza, in the Alta Valle del Chiampo. It is a festival dedicated to a local excellence: the trout of the Alta Valle, farmed in the clean waters of the area and recognized with the Municipal Designation of Origin (De.Co.) of the municipality of Altissimo.

Trout in all its forms

The food stand, open every evening from 7 PM, offers a menu entirely dedicated to fish: crostini with trout, fried trout, trout sauce pasta, fillets and grilled trout, accompanied by polenta and sausage. A proposal that tells the story of the cuisine of a valley where fish farming is part of the local identity.

Not just gastronomy

The festival combines culinary delights with cultural and entertainment moments: an art exhibition with works by local artists of all ages, a conference dedicated to the De.Co. trout, and musical evenings, including live Latin music. A format that combines product valorization, community, and fun.
