The Sagra di Lovara
In Lovara di Trissino, a hilly hamlet of the municipality of Trissino in the province of Vicenza, the Sagra di Lovara is held concurrently with the feast of Saint Peter the Apostle, on the last two weekends of June. It is one of the most deeply rooted festivals in the Colli Vicentini, reaching its 48th edition in 2026.
Krapfen, the festival's specialty
The true symbol of the sagra are the krapfen, prepared according to tradition, fluffy and delicious, served on Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30 PM. Over the years, they have become the gastronomic attraction that identifies Lovara and draws visitors from all over the Val d'Agno.
Food stand, concerts, and exhibitions
The food stand is open from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM with traditional Vicenza dishes. Alongside the food, the program offers concerts, performances, exhibitions, and shows, as well as a painting competition designed to showcase the landscape characteristics of the hilly area.
A community festival in the hills
Nestled in a charming hilly landscape, the Sagra di Lovara is an event of strong identity for Trissino: it combines the religious dimension of the feast of Saint Peter with popular conviviality, flavors, and art, on some evenings at the end of June that mark the beginning of the Trissino summer.

The 2026 edition of the Sagra di Lovara (Festa di San Pietro) celebrates its 48th edition in Lovara di Trissino, over two weekends: June 20-21 and 26-27-28.
Confirmed are the krapfen served Saturday and Sunday from 5:30 PM, the food stand open from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and the usual program of concerts, performances, exhibitions, and shows, with the painting competition dedicated to the local landscape.
