The musical night of Gran Polù
The Serate Desfo Hill are the youngest and most festive part of the historic Sagra Gran Polù in Castelnovo, a district of Isola Vicentina (Vicenza). While the sagra (traditional festival) offers dishes of the Venetian tradition such as bigoli with duck ragu, gnocchi, grilled luganeghe (sausages), and toasted polenta, the Serate Desfo Hill animate Parco Rizzi, in Via Sant'Antonio, with live music, DJ sets, and themed nights.
From 10 PM onwards, for several weekends in June
The events are spread over several weekends in June and start from 10 PM, when the park fills with young people for concerts, DJ sets, and Latin American nights. It is a format that has managed to rejuvenate a long-standing sagra (the Gran Polù has surpassed its fiftieth edition), bringing a new audience to the town without betraying the spirit of the festival.
Pro Loco and community
The evenings are organized by Pro Loco Castelnovo APS, with the patronage of the Municipality of Isola Vicentina, and take place with free admission. An example of how, even in the upper Vicenza area, village sagre know how to renew themselves while remaining a meeting point for the entire community.
Desfo Hill — edition 2026
In 2026, the Serate Desfo Hill return to Parco Rizzi in Castelnovo for three weekends in June, from 10 PM onwards. The musical evenings accompany the Sagra Gran Polù, organized by Pro Loco Castelnovo APS with the patronage of the Municipality of Isola Vicentina, and take place with free admission.

Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6
- From 10 PM — opening musical evenings at Parco Rizzi
Friday, June 12, Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14
- From 10 PM — concerts and DJ sets (Sunday the 14th evening concludes around 11 PM)
Friday, June 26, Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28
- From 10 PM — closing evenings with live music and DJ sets
The detailed lineup of artists and DJs for 2026 will be published on the Pro Loco Castelnovo APS poster (attachment "desfo-hill-2026"). In parallel, the Sagra Gran Polù offers its food stand with typical Venetian dishes from 7:30 PM.
