The Fasùlin Festival is the celebration that every autumn takes place in Sospiro, in the province of Cremona, honoring the fasùlin, the bean that gives the event its name and is rooted in the peasant cuisine of the lower Po Valley. The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Sospiro APS and has achieved solid continuity in recent years, with the covered space of the Palafagiolino becoming its symbol.
Two weekends, two menus
The format includes two weekends between late October and November, with two different menus: dishes are served in the evening in a heated marquee set up in the festival area of the sports center, allowing guests to be welcomed even in the autumn cold. On the table are specialties of Cremonese tradition, from bean-based dishes to local culinary classics.
A community celebration
In addition to the food, the Fasùlin Festival is a moment of community gathering for the town: the Pro Loco livens up the evenings and accompanies the gastronomic tradition with the convivial atmosphere typical of the festivals in the lower Po Valley. The artisanal care in preparing the dishes and the heated environment make it an appreciated stop on the autumn food and wine calendar of the province of Cremona.

For 2026, the Pro Loco of Sospiro confirms the Fasùlin Festival, maintaining the proven formula of two autumn weekends with two different menus at the Palafagiolino.
The exact schedule of evenings will be published by the Pro Loco in the weeks leading up to the event. The kitchen opens in the evening with traditional Cremonese dishes, featuring beans prominently, in the heated marquee of the sports center's festival area.

How to get there
Sospiro is located along the road connecting Cremona to Casalmaggiore, about 15 km southeast of Cremona. By car from the former state road SP Giuseppina; Cremona station is the nearest railway reference point.
