Essere in maschera — Giardina Party is the costume-themed event that brings joy to the Giardina ski school area, the historic slopes where generations of children have learned to ski.

The event is organized by the Associazione Essere Sangiacomo ETS, one of the most vibrant local groups, created to bring life and social connection back to a small mountain village. Masks, skis, and smiles are the true stars of a day designed to unite different generations: children, teenagers, and adults who haven't lost their playful spirit gather on the slopes to share music, fun, and some friendly competition on the snow.

From the slopes to the village

The beauty of the Giardina Party lies in its rhythm: it starts at the ski school with skiing and entertainment, but in the late afternoon, the atmosphere moves through the streets of the village. A colorful masked parade accompanies participants to Piazza Edoardo Magnano, the heart of San Giacomo, where the festivities culminate with a complimentary snack and a wild confetti battle that involves both young and old.
