El Giro dele Fraziom: Sport through the heart of Brentonico

El Giro dele Fraziom has become a staple of the summer season in Brentonico, a town nestled on the plateau of the same name on Monte Baldo, in the autonomous province of Trento (Trentino-Alto Adige). Created to showcase the area's many hamlets, the event connects them all in one grand circuit featuring routes for running, walking, or cycling, with views stretching across the peaks of Baldo and the Vallagarina valley.

The formula is simple and successful: a day designed for all tastes and all fitness levels. There are competitive athletes challenging themselves in mountain running, mountain bike enthusiasts, Nordic walking fans, and those who prefer a leisurely family stroll. No one is left out, because the true star is the territory itself, with its hamlets and its flavors.

A scenic route through the hamlets

The event's headquarters is Parco Cesare Battisti, the heart of Brentonico, from which the various trials depart. The tracks wind through the town's hamlets, creating loops of varying lengths immersed in the meadows, woods, and open panoramas of the plateau.

• Mountain running: A competitive race covering approximately 6 km for the junior category and 9.5 km for seniors and masters.
• Mountain biking: Three routes of varying lengths, from approximately 9.7 km up to 20.8 km.
• Recreational walk: Routes open to everyone, to be covered on foot or by bicycle, through the hamlets of Brentonico.
• Nordic walking: The pole-walking technique that combines sport and wellness.

The taste of the hamlets

What makes El Giro dele Fraziom special is the blend of sport and gastronomy. Along the routes, in correspondence with the various hamlets, refreshment and tasting points are set up where you can sample local products: a way to recharge your energy while discovering the authentic flavors of the Brentonico plateau. The morning traditionally concludes with a pasta party at Parco Cesare Battisti, a convivial moment that brings all participants together.

Organizers

The event is promoted by Atletica Team Loppio together with the Gruppo Alpini di Brentonico, with the support of the municipal administration and the collaboration of local groups and associations. A collective effort that transforms the entire town into a great space for celebration, sport, and community every year, in the spirit of Trentino's alpine tradition.
