Places and Music, an international traveling music festival that crosses the villages, castles, and wineries of the Monferrato and the entire Alessandria province every year. The festival, organized by the Ondasonora APS Musical Association under the artistic direction of pianist Sergio Marchegiani, offers a rich calendar of concerts that enhances both the musical and landscape heritage of Piedmont.

The 'Places of Wine' series

The Bistagno stop is part of the Places of Wine series, one of the festival's most distinctive sections: three concerts hosted in local cellars and wineries, where music engages in a dialogue with the oenological culture of Monferrato. The Bistagno event is held at the Azienda C. Fasò, nestled among the vine rows and hills that provide a natural backdrop for the performance. It is a format designed for those who wish to experience the concert not just as a show, but as a complete experience made of sounds, flavors, and landscapes.

An international and traveling festival

Echos is not tied to a single venue: its traveling nature takes it to numerous towns in the province of Alessandria, from Casale Monferrato to Acqui Terme, from Novi Ligure to Valenza, with dozens of concerts spread throughout the spring. The program ranges from chamber repertoire to solo performances, with dedicated cycles like PianoEchos and special projects involving Italian and international performers. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Piedmont Region, and local foundations and administrations.
