Wine, music, poetry, and craftsmanship in the historic heart of Salento

The DiVino Miggiano Wine Fest is the premier summer food and wine event in Miggiano, a small town in the Lower Salento area of the Lecce province, in Puglia. The festival transforms the streets, alleys, and courtyards of the town's oldest quarter into a sprawling tasting experience, with Piazza Municipio serving as the beating heart of the evening. Established in 2024, the event is organized by the local municipal administration in partnership with the So What association and has quickly become one of the most anticipated wine nights of the Salento summer.
What sets DiVino Miggiano apart from a typical wine festival is its multidisciplinary soul. Along the tasting route, visitors encounter corners dedicated to live music—ranging from piano and tenor vocals to pop-soul duos, harp and violin performances, and DJ sets—as well as spaces reserved for poetry, featuring readings by local authors. Alongside the wine glasses, you will find local craftsmanship and design, with creations ranging from grain and flour artistry to upcycled materials, light geometries, embroidery, and textiles.
The trail showcases wines from Puglia's most representative wineries—from Salento to Manduria—with guest appearances from other Italian regions, including Piedmont, Tuscany, Trentino-Alto Adige, Lombardy, and the Marche. It is a perfect opportunity to discover diverse labels in an informal and convivial setting, strolling from one stand to another among the historic stone walls.
The roaming format invites you to explore Miggiano beyond the glass: the courtyards, the facades, and the Olive Oil Museum (Mom), which hosts side exhibitions. It is a festival concept that celebrates the town's heritage and Salento's folk traditions, blending gastronomy and culture into a single summer evening. An event designed as much for wine enthusiasts as for those seeking an authentic way to experience the more intimate side of Salento, far from the mass tourism routes.
