About Cuneo Music Festival

The Cuneo Music Festival is the summer music series that brings Piazza Galimberti in the center of Cuneo to life with three nights of free open-air concerts. Part of the Cuneo Summer Events program and organized by the Municipality of Cuneo in collaboration with Confartigianato Imprese Cuneo, the event brings nationally renowned artists to the capital of the Granda area, ranging from singer-songwriters and pop music to dance nights for younger audiences. An event that transforms the city's living room into a grand summer stage.

The music festival of the Cuneo summer

The Cuneo Music Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in the capital of the Granda province. For three consecutive nights, the monumental Piazza Galimberti transforms into an open-air stage hosting free concerts open to everyone in the heart of Cuneo. The event is part of the extensive Cuneo Summer Events program and is promoted by the Municipality of Cuneo together with Confartigianato Imprese Cuneo and the DonArti ETS association.

A stage for nationally renowned artists

The festival's formula focuses on well-known names from the Italian music scene, capable of attracting a vast and diverse audience. The lineup ranges from singer-songwriters to pop music, and from intimate live performances to dance nights designed for younger crowds. Choosing the central square—the city's authentic living room—allows visitors to experience music in an elegant and welcoming urban setting, at the foot of historic buildings and just a stone's throw from Via Roma and the Cuneo arcades.

Cuneo and Piedmont: music and tradition

Cuneo, the capital city of the province of the same name in Piedmont, has always been a crossroads for cultural initiatives that celebrate the Granda territory, with its mountains, alpine valleys, and local products. The Cuneo Music Festival fits perfectly into this vocation, offering citizens and tourists an opportunity for gathering and summer celebration, with music as the common thread.

Free concerts for everyone

One of the hallmarks of the festival is that the shows are free of charge: the concerts in Piazza Galimberti have free admission, a choice that makes musical culture accessible and draws thousands of people to the city center. The atmosphere is typical of great summer evenings, complete with stalls, open bars, and the lively local nightlife.

A summer of events

The festival is just one part of the dense program of events that animate Cuneo during the summer months. Concerts, shows, markets, and cultural initiatives follow one another throughout the season, making the Piedmontese capital a vibrant destination even for those choosing the valleys and mountains of the Cuneo area for their vacation.
