About Bosconero Craftsmanship Exhibition

Every May, Bosconero, a small town in the Canavese area within the Metropolitan City of Turin, transforms into an open-air workshop for the «Between Air, Earth, Water and Fire» Craftsmanship Exhibition. Three days of ancient trades, thematic workshops dedicated to sound, flavors, and sculpture, over 170 exhibitors from across Northern Italy, street performances, street food, and hands-on workshops. A free event that attracts thousands of visitors every year, celebrating the value of handmade work.

A celebration of handmade work

The «Between Air, Earth, Water and Fire» Craftsmanship Exhibition is the flagship event of Bosconero, a lively town in the Canavese area in the province of Turin, in the heart of Piedmont. Reaching its nineteenth edition in 2026, the exhibition transforms the entire village for three days into a large open-air workshop, brought to life by sounds, colors, flavors, and ancient knowledge. With an average of around 20,000 visitors, it is confirmed as one of the most important events in Piedmont in the sector of craftsmanship and ancient trades.

The four elements and thematic workshops

The title «Between Air, Earth, Water and Fire» evokes the four natural elements that have always accompanied the artisan's work. The exhibition is organized around thematic workshops dedicated to sound, flavors, and sculpture, offering a multi-sensory immersion into the world of handmade goods. On Sunday, the main day, the town streets host over 170 exhibitors from Piedmont, Aosta Valley, Liguria, Lombardy, Tuscany, and Emilia-Romagna, featuring artisanal creations, local products, and live demonstrations.

Art, nature, and ancient trades

Alongside the stands, there is the Art and Nature section, with nursery gardeners, organic producers, and green building proposals, as well as the unmissable exhibition of vintage tractors and agricultural machinery that tells the story of the rural tradition of the Canavese. There is no shortage of entertainment and equestrian performances designed for children, tasting stalls, and shops open with extended hours.

Performances, culture, and inclusion

  • Friday: cultural opening at the civic theater with book presentations and literary meetings.
  • Saturday: street food along the streets, street artists, thematic hands-on workshops, clown shows, and a strong focus on inclusion with integrated theater companies and bands composed of musicians with disabilities.
  • Sunday: the great craft market fair with workshops, exhibitions, and entertainment for the whole family.

The event is organized by the Municipality of Bosconero together with the Associazione Pandorama APS and with the support of CNA, under the patronage of the Piedmont Region and the Metropolitan City of Turin. Admission is completely free.
