The Craft and Fine Local Products Market Exhibition is the summer event in Vieste, in the Province of Foggia, that celebrates manual talent and traditional flavors. Established in 2024 through the initiative of the Municipality of Vieste in collaboration with the SDM Eventi Cultural Association, the event has found its natural home at Marina Piccola, the scenic cove overlooking the sea in the city center, providing the ideal backdrop for an evening stroll between creativity and tradition.

The idea driving the exhibition is both simple and ambitious: to give visibility to local artisans and enhance the Gargano cultural heritage, laying the foundations for a market that becomes a fixed appointment dedicated to local craftsmanship. It is not just any fair, but a quality showcase designed to tell the story of the identity of Vieste and the Gargano.

What you will find among the stands

Strolling along the stalls, visitors encounter objects made entirely by hand using a wide variety of techniques: wood, stone, iron, glass, and ceramics coexist with embroidery, crochet, knitting, and creations made from recycled materials. Alongside artistic crafts, there is space for fine local products from Gargano gastronomy, a testament to a territory rich in authentic flavors, from extra virgin olive oil to products of the land and sea.

Every piece on display carries the story of its creator: it is the workshops and small artisans of the Capitanata who bring the fruits of their labor to the square, in a direct dialogue with residents and tourists who, on summer evenings, crowd the Marina Piccola waterfront.

The Market Exhibition is part of the rich Vieste summer program, which from May to October enlivens Marina Piccola, the historic center, the Carlo Nobile Amphitheater, and the Swabian-Aragonese Castle with concerts, exhibitions, food festivals, and events dedicated to local products.
