When Design Goes Up the Mountain
Courmayeur Design Week-end is a festival that intertwines design, culture, and mountains, bringing exhibitions, talks, installations, and workshops by leading designers and brands to the most renowned resort in the Aosta Valley. At the foot of Mont Blanc, the event transforms Courmayeur's streets, spaces, and lifts into a widespread creative path, where the town's alpine elegance dialogues with contemporary Italian and international design trends.
The 2026 Edition: 'Love & Passions'
The sixth edition, scheduled from February 12 to 15, 2026, is themed 'Love & Passions' and offers a rich calendar of talks, readings, charity events, workout sessions, and installations. Among the guests is the renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, the protagonist of the 'Talk on Top' at Skyway Monte Bianco, alongside major brands like Kartell, Vitra, Cappellini, and Natuzzi, and installations by aMDL Circle, Matteo Ragni, Lombardini22, and Carlo Ratti Associati. The visual concept of the edition adorns 45 cabins of the Courmayeur Mont Blanc cable car with as many words of love, suspended between sky and landscape.
skiCAD, the Ski Race for Architects and Designers
The sporting heart of the event is skiCAD, the historic ski race for architects and designers, now in its 26th edition in 2026, scheduled for Saturday, February 14, on the Chécrouit slope. An iconic event that combines the passion for design with the love for the mountains, in perfect Courmayeur style.

The 2026 edition of Courmayeur Design Week-end, from February 12 to 15, revolves around the theme 'Love & Passions'. The program alternates talks, readings, charity events, workout sessions, and installations spread throughout the center and at altitude. How to Get There
Courmayeur is reachable by car via the A5 Turin-Aosta-Mont Blanc motorway, Courmayeur exit. Several event venues are in the pedestrian center; the 'Talk on Top' and some activities take place at altitude, accessible via the Skyway Monte Bianco cable car.
