About CorriAMola Insieme

CorriAMola Insieme is a competitive 10 km road race that turns the streets of Mola di Bari into the heart of Apulian running every late November. Organized by ASD Avis Mola Running and part of the CorriPuglia circuit, it combines sport, competition, and solidarity along a fast, flat city course overlooking the Adriatic. It is a highly popular event, attracting over a thousand athletes from across the region, featuring refreshment stations, cheering crowds, and the traditional post-race celebration on the seafront with the iconic octopus sandwich offered to all runners.

A Sunday of running in Mola di Bari

CorriAMola Insieme is the road race that lights up the center of Mola di Bari, a coastal town in the Bari Metropolitan City, Apulia, on the last Sunday of November. Established in 2024 and growing rapidly, the event is organized by ASD Avis Mola Running and is part of the prestigious regional CorriPuglia circuit, which brings together the main road races in the Apulian territory.

The course: 10 km of fast, flat terrain

The race takes place on a 10-kilometer city loop, one of the fastest in the region. The course is almost entirely flat, with minimal elevation changes and long straights that favor high-level performances; the only challenge is the overpass around the 7.5 km mark, just before the return to the finish line. A refreshment station is located at the halfway point, while a second supply point welcomes athletes at the finish.

Sport, enthusiasm, and solidarity

The bond with AVIS, the voluntary blood donor association, gives the race a strong social value: the day combines competitive spirit with awareness about blood donation, drawing not only competitive runners but also families and enthusiasts to the streets. The 2025 edition saw over 1,500 registered participants and more than a thousand finishers, numbers that confirm CorriAMola Insieme as one of the most cherished running events of the Apulian autumn.

The seafront celebration

What makes the event unique is the convivial atmosphere after the race: upon crossing the finish line, athletes receive water and fruit, but above all, the octopus sandwich accompanied by non-alcoholic beer, enjoyed while overlooking the Adriatic. It is a quintessentially local way to celebrate the race, blending the maritime culinary tradition with a passion for sport on one of the most colorful Sundays of the year for the Municipality of Mola di Bari.

An event for all of Apulia

Thanks to the CorriPuglia circuit, CorriAMola Insieme attracts sports clubs and athletes from all Apulian provinces, turning Mola di Bari into the capital of regional running for a day. The combination of a fast course, meticulous organization, and a spirit of solidarity makes it a permanent fixture on the calendars of runners in Southern Italy.
