The 10 km road race along the Mola di Bari seafront
CorriAMola Insieme is the road race that lights up the center of Mola di Bari, a coastal town in the Bari Metropolitan City, Apulia, on the last Sunday of November. Established in 2024 and growing rapidly, the event is organized by ASD Avis Mola Running and is part of the prestigious regional CorriPuglia circuit, which brings together the main road races in the Apulian territory.
The race takes place on a 10-kilometer city loop, one of the fastest in the region. The course is almost entirely flat, with minimal elevation changes and long straights that favor high-level performances; the only challenge is the overpass around the 7.5 km mark, just before the return to the finish line. A refreshment station is located at the halfway point, while a second supply point welcomes athletes at the finish.
The bond with AVIS, the voluntary blood donor association, gives the race a strong social value: the day combines competitive spirit with awareness about blood donation, drawing not only competitive runners but also families and enthusiasts to the streets. The 2025 edition saw over 1,500 registered participants and more than a thousand finishers, numbers that confirm CorriAMola Insieme as one of the most cherished running events of the Apulian autumn.
What makes the event unique is the convivial atmosphere after the race: upon crossing the finish line, athletes receive water and fruit, but above all, the octopus sandwich accompanied by non-alcoholic beer, enjoyed while overlooking the Adriatic. It is a quintessentially local way to celebrate the race, blending the maritime culinary tradition with a passion for sport on one of the most colorful Sundays of the year for the Municipality of Mola di Bari.
Thanks to the CorriPuglia circuit, CorriAMola Insieme attracts sports clubs and athletes from all Apulian provinces, turning Mola di Bari into the capital of regional running for a day. The combination of a fast course, meticulous organization, and a spirit of solidarity makes it a permanent fixture on the calendars of runners in Southern Italy.
On Sunday, November 29, 2026, the third edition of CorriAMola Insieme returns to Mola di Bari, a competitive 10 km road race valid for the regional CorriPuglia circuit. The track follows the fast and flat city loop of previous editions, with a refreshment station at the halfway point and supplies at the finish. The event is organized by ASD Avis Mola Running, which once again combines sports competition with awareness about blood donation.
Competitive road race of 10 km, FIDAL-approved and part of the CorriPuglia circuit. City loop course, flat and fast (minimal slopes), with an overpass around the 7.5 km mark. Morning gathering with bib collection at Palazzo Roberti; refreshment at the 5th km and final supply at the finish. Rankings and awards for clubs and the top male and female finishers.
