The Condochella Silent Party is the summer event that brings music to the ancient walls of the Castello del Conte Verde in Condove, in the upper Susa Valley (Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont). It is a silent disco: no speakers and no volume in the air, but wireless headphones distributed to all participants. Everyone can choose between three different musical channels and dance to the rhythm they prefer, in total freedom.

The silent disco format is not just a curious gimmick: it allows you to enjoy an evening of music and fun without disturbing the public peace, while fully respecting the environment and the historical setting. It is precisely this balance between fun and respect for the location that has made Condochella a beloved and now permanent fixture for the entire Susa Valley, capable of attracting a crowd of young people and families.

The charm of the Castello del Conte Verde

The setting is one of the most evocative places in the region. The Castello del Conte Verde stands on a hill between Mount Pirchiriano and Caprasio, a short distance from the Dora Riparia river, between Caprie and Condove. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages: it was the center of an abbey castellany dependent on San Giusto di Susa, and today its perimeter ruins and a 17th-century chapel dedicated to the Assumption of Mary remain. Dancing among these ruins, with the panorama of the valley all around, gives the evening a unique atmosphere.

A party with a purpose

Behind the music is a charitable project. Condochella is organized by the Condove Scout Group, affiliated with AGESCI: the proceeds from the evening are entirely dedicated to financing the children's summer activities, from camps in the woods to the purchase of educational materials. Participating therefore means having fun while simultaneously supporting the educational work of the local scouts.
