The festival of the hamlet of San Silvestro celebrating work and Romagna's good food
The Company Festival is the summer event of the hamlet of San Silvestro, a small community nestled in the countryside on the outskirts of Faenza, in the province of Ravenna, in Emilia-Romagna. Organized by the Parish of San Silvestro since 1999, the event takes place annually on the third weekend of June and was founded with a specific idea: to give a voice to local businesses and tell the story of the world of work that animates this corner of Romagna.
The original heart of the festival is the dialogue with local companies. Each edition addresses a theme related to the world of work and hosts stands and representatives from local businesses, along with authorities, in an occasion for meeting between producers and citizens. It is an authentic village festival where the community dimension and pride in Romagna's craftsmanship remain at the center.
Under the food marquee, you can taste the best of Romagna's cuisine, prepared according to tradition: cappelletti with ragù, orecchioni with butter and sage, garganelli alla San Silvestro, grilled meats, and Florentine steak cooked over coals (by reservation), as well as bruschetta, piadina, wood-fired pizzas, all accompanied by good wine and draft beer.
The four evenings of the festival alternate between the opening of the food marquees and shows: musical performances, DJ sets, concerts by local music schools, dance shows, and comedy moments liven up the square until late at night. A simple and popular program, designed for families and for those who want to experience a genuine summer in the Faenza countryside.
The festival takes place at the Parish of San Silvestro, along the street of the same name on the outskirts of Faenza, easily accessible near the motorway exit. A perfect opportunity to discover the real Romagna, away from the most crowded destinations but just a few minutes from the historic center of Faenza, famous for its ceramics.
The Company Festival 2026 returns on the usual third weekend of June, with four days of gastronomy, music, and shows open to all. The San Silvestro Parish stand offers traditional Romagna dishes, while each evening features a different event animating the square, from musical performances to DJ sets and dance. This confirms the popular and community-oriented nature of the Faenza event.
Don't miss the Florentine steak cooked over coals on Monday evening (by reservation) and the "Le comete di Romagna" performance with DJ set on the opening Friday evening.
The festival is held at the Parish of San Silvestro, in Via San Silvestro in Faenza (RA), on the outskirts of the city near the A14 motorway exit. Traveling by car is the most convenient option; it's just a few minutes from Faenza city center.
The food marquees generally open in the evening around 7:00 PM (from 6:30 PM on Sundays). Evening shows start late at night.
Advance booking is recommended for the Florentine steak cooked over coals. For information, call +39 348 0339281.
Admission to the festival is free; you only pay for what you consume at the food marquee.
