Where it takes place: the Il Tamburello Festival Area

The heart of the event is the Il Tamburello Festival Area, the equipped space that hosts the food stalls and long outdoor tables. Here, volunteers prepare and serve traditional dishes in the informal, family-friendly environment typical of Tuscan village festivals. The event is organized by USD Colli Marittimi, the sports and recreational association that hosts various food and wine events in the village throughout the summer.

The culinary offerings draw from the rich repertoire of Maremma and inland Pisan cuisine: grilled meats, traditional pasta dishes, seasonal side dishes, and homemade desserts. Throughout the summer, the festivals in Casale Marittimo feature specialties such as pork shank with potatoes, Maremma-style tortelli with meat sauce or butter and sage, and various steaks and grilled meats.
